Julian Robinson

Julian Robinson is the creator and founder of Social Dhamma. Julian has over 20 years in both Buddhist and non-Buddhist meditation practices. With a diverse background as a counsellor, counsellor trainer, project officer, community development consultant, and social researcher, Julian brings a comprehensive skill set to the table. Notably, Julian holds a Masters degree in Community Development & Management.

Drawing upon the extensive expertise gained throughout these endeavours, Julian created Social Dhamma as his major life's work. He now offer Social Dhamma as a profound contribution to humanity during this era of global crisis.

The journey towards establishing Social Dhamma at its current esteemed level has spanned more than a decade. Social Dhamma is now extended to social and sacred activists, change makers, innovators, thought leaders, visionaries, bodhisattvas, light-workers, and all those inspired to actively participate in the conscious co-creation of the foundational pillars of a more enlightened society. Julian warmly welcomes individuals from all walks of life to engage with Social Dhamma and embark on this transformative journey together.

Flourish Sanctuary exists primarily to serve the people of our community. To date, we have proudly not taken any government grants or corporate money and are totally independently funded. Everybody who works on the property is an unpaid volunteer apart from our cleaner, but they do get to live on this sacred land. Black Sheep Farm and Compassion Temple are operated by volunteers of Flourish Sanctuary. Our purpose is people, not profits. If you can make a donation to support our purpose then please click here.

We believe this world is for everyone regardless of spiritual beliefs, gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity or species. We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we gather, the Bundjalung people, and pay our respects to their Elders past, present, and emerging. We recognise their continuing connection to land, water, and community, and we support their ongoing efforts towards self-determination and sovereignty.
