Volunteer Information for the Festival for World Peace

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Festival for World Peace. Volunteers like you are an integral part of creating a harmonious and magical experience for all who attend. We are grateful for your energy and commitment to supporting us in fostering peace.

Volunteer Program
Join the Festival for World Peace family and discover a unique opportunity to connect, make new friends, and contribute to a global vision of peace. Our volunteer roles cover various aspects of the event, creating a diverse array of opportunities to lend your support. Roles include:
  • Carpark and ticketing
  • Help with event and accomodation setup
  • Kids zone
  • Information, first aid and lost property tent
  • No trace team
  • Pack Down/Bump Out at the End of the Event

Volunteer Harmony Exchange
In exchange for approximately 4 hours of volunteering per day, you will receive a ticket to the Festival for World Peace for just $20 per day. Your shifts will accommodate your preferences and the needs of the festival.

Meetings
All volunteers are asked to participate in a pre-event Team Meeting on the 29th of December to provide an opportunity to discuss the festival, go over roles and responsibilities, and ensure everyone is aligned with the peaceful spirit of the event. An onsite briefing will also be conducted upon arrival.

Festival Spirit
The Spirit of the Festival can be found here.

Thank you for being a part of this transformative journey. Together, let's create a world of peace, one volunteer shift at a time.

With Peace and Love,
Festival for World Peace

or phone Jagad on 0433 173 508.

Flourish Sanctuary exists primarily to serve the people of our community. To date, we have proudly not taken any government grants or corporate money and are totally independently funded. Everybody who works on the property is an unpaid volunteer apart from our cleaner, but they do get to live on this sacred land. Black Sheep Farm and Compassion Temple are operated by volunteers of Flourish Sanctuary. Our purpose is people, not profits. If you can make a donation to support our purpose then please click here.

We believe this world is for everyone regardless of spiritual beliefs, gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity or species. We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we gather, the Bundjalung people, and pay our respects to their Elders past, present, and emerging. We recognise their continuing connection to land, water, and community, and we support their ongoing efforts towards self-determination and sovereignty.
