Sound Healing with MichaelThursday morning at 9:30 AMMichael has organised this group with the aim of promoting and fostering the utilisation of healing instruments for sound therapy within Nimbin and its neighbouring regions.
Michael is an active member of Singing Ring Australia, where he primarily employs the highly regarded Singing Ring® sound bowls of Japanese origin for healing and therapy purposes. These Singing Ring® sound bowls are widely recognised as one of the most effective instruments for meditation. The advantages of engaging in Singing Ring® Sound Bowl Therapy encompass a variety of benefits, such as lymphatic drainage through vibrational massage detox, cellular rejuvenation with H²O structuring, brainwave entrainment for mental relaxation, fostering emotional self-understanding and connection, energy clearing, utilising it as a manifestation tool, and promoting enduring calmness. Singing Ring® healing instrument has been studied by top research universities and shown the "full harmonic overtones" they produce to be highly effective in entraining our brainwaves into a predominantly Alpha & Theta state - the state our brainwaves are in when we meditate, when we reach higher inner awareness and become deeply connected to our subconscious. At the same time the sounds reduce Beta brainwave activity which is associated with an over-active mind, anxiety, mental stress and fight-or-flight mechanism. Flourish Sanctuary exists primarily to serve the people of our community. To date, we have proudly not taken any government grants or corporate money and are totally independently funded. Everybody who works on the property is an unpaid volunteer apart from our cleaner, but they do get to live on this sacred land.
